Vinegar is great on salads, but did you know you can also use it to clean all around your home? It's true! Just be sure to use distilled white vinegar... and leave the olive oil out of the mix. :-)
Vinegar may be a bit stinky, but it really is one of those "magic" household cleaners. It is a natural and non-toxic option for home and office cleaning, and is also quite inexpensive.
One of vinegar's "magic" properties is that it is great at removing all sorts of mineral build up. Whether this means using it to clean the lime build up off of and out of your shower heads and faucets, or even to clean out your automatic coffee maker!
For those with small children, vinegar is also great for cleaning things like toys without using a toxic cleaning product. Believe it or not, it can also be used to peel off hard to remove stickers and decals.
Have a garbage disposal? Then you know it you leave it too long it will start to emanate a foul odor. Simple, just freeze some vinegar in an ice tray and run it through. Your garbage disposal will be smelling like new in no time.
Perhaps Clean Popo's favorite use of vinegar is the simplest. Just mix it with water and it is a great substitute for window cleaning solution. And works just as well!
