Rosie the Robot from The Jetsons
I can remember watching The Jetsons as a little kid and thinking to myself how cool it would be to have a robot that did housework... well perhaps one with a little less attitude than The Jetson's Rosie, but still. Now that The Jetsons television show is in syndication and cleaning robots actually do exist, I thought I would take this opportunity to explore consumer cleaning robot options. At this point in time, nothing on the consumer market comes close to Rosie. Even still, there are a few companies such a iRobot, Neato, and Dirt Devil which make pretty cool little machines. Ranging in price from about $100 all the way up to over $600, it couldn't be clearer that not all cleaning robots were created equal. While the $100-$200 models may only clean one or two floor surface types, the more advanced models are much more capable and are often equipped with HEPA filters, automatically return to their charging stations after cleaning up, and can even figure out and remember for next time the most efficient cleaning map for specific rooms in your home! Although we here at Clean Popo predict it will be quite some time before we are replaced by robot maids and housekeepers, the use of robotics in the cleaning industry is evolving quickly. Starting with floor sweeping robots just a few years ago, we have already seen the introduction of floor mopping robots, pool cleaning robots, and even gutter cleaning robots! One can only imagine what the next breakthrough will be... The decision of which floor cleaning robot to purchase may be difficult, but the decision of which Hoboken area cleaning company to use is easy. Simply put, Clean Popo is the best! Contact us today!
